Setting the Clock

NOTE: Upon initial start-up or PC board replacement, if CLOCK SET automatically appears in the display, skip steps 1 through 3 and continue at step 4.

  1. Press and hold the Program button for 5 seconds, until LEVEL 2  displays and then release.
  2. Press the Program button twice. CLOCK SET and then ENTER CODE displays.
  3. Press 1, 2, 3. CS-1 then SET, and then MONTH flashing displays.
  4. Press the up and down arrows to change the month, and then use the Program button to scroll through the remaining settings, using the up and down arrow keys to change the individual settings.
    • CS-2 DATE
    • CS-3 YEAR
    • CS-4 HOUR (AM/PM)
    • CS-5 MINUTE
    • CS-6 CLOCK MODE 1. AM/PM is 12 hour 2. 24-HR is 24-hour time.
    • CS-7 DAYLIGHT SAVINGS ADJ:
      • 1. OFF: No automatic adjustments for Daylight Savings Time.
      • 2. US: Automatically applies United States Daylight Saving Time adjustment. For 2006 & earlier: DST starts on first Sunday in April and ends on last Sunday in October. For 2007 and later: DST starts on second Sunday in March, ends on first Sunday in November.
      • 3. EURO: Automatically applies European (CE) Daylight Savings Time adjustment. DST activated on the last Sunday in March. DST de-activated on the last Sunday in October.
      • FSA: Old “First Sunday in April” schedule, in case US ever goes back to old schedule. DST starts on the first Sunday in April. DST ends on the last Sunday in October.
  5. Clock Set is now complete. Press and hold Program to exit.

Manually Setting New or Used Oil

  1. Turn the power switch to off.
  2. Press and hold the 5 button while turning the power switch to on, until IS OIL NEW OR USED? displays.
  3. Select one of two options, press the 4 button for new oil, or the 5 button for used oil.
    • If option 4 was pressed, OIL IS NEW? displays. Press the 1 button for YES, and THANK YOU displays. The control resumes normal operation.
    • If option 5 was pressed, OIL IS USED? displays. Press the 1 button for YES, and HOW OLD IS OIL? displays, press the up or down button to set the age of the oil.
  4. Press the timer button. THANK YOU displays,. and the control resume normal operation.

Selecting the Language

Press the program button, and then the 6 button. This allows the operator to choose to display the information in English or Spanish.
