Finding the Model and Serial Number:
You'll need the serial number when contacting Henny Penny or your local distributor, researching warranty status, or determining the manufacture date.
A data label containing the serial number is on every unit.

Fryer data labels are located behind a fryer door and serial numbers are also engraved on the left or right sides of the vat.

The serial number is engraved on the frame between the doors on EEG 16X, 24, and 25X fryers.

Cabinet data labels are located on the top panel of the cabinet.

Serial numbers for products manufactured from 2004 to present can be explained by the following formula:
Product type characters + Last two digits of year + Two digit month + Three digit sequence
For example, a serial number of AA0409123 indicates:
(AA = Product) + (04 = Year) + (09 = Month) + (123 = Three digit sequence)
or the 123rd product manufactured in September 2004
Serial numbers for products manufactured from 1986 to 2003 can be explained by the following formula:

"IFI" Cold and Hot Case Serial Numbers
Serial numbers for "IFI" cold and hot cases can be explained by the following formula:
Second to last digit of year + Character representing last digit of year + Character representing month + Three digit sequence
For example, a serial number of 0AC034 indicates:
(0 = Second to last digit of year) + (A = Last digit of year) + (C = Month) + (034 = Three digit sequence)
