Daily Cleaning Procedure for AutoLift Assembly

To clean the AutoLift assembly on a Henny Penny fryer do the following.

Only perform this procedure when the unit is cool or severe burns may result.

Burn Risk

To avoid burns, use PPE when filtering oil or cleaning vat.

  1. Use the AutoLift control to lower the lift arms to the bottom position.

  2. Turn Off and Cool Down:
    • Ensure the fryer is turned off and has cooled down to a safe temperature before cleaning.

    • Remove the baskets and set them aside for separate cleaning.

  3. Wipe Down the Lift Arms:
  4. NOTE: Ensure degreaser and other contaminates do not drip in oil.

    • Use a clean, damp cloth with a mild food-safe degreaser or soapy water.

    • Wipe down the lift arms and surrounding areas to remove oil splatter and food debris.

    • Use a dry cloth to remove any moisture from the lift arms.

  5. Sanitize (Optional):
    • If required by your food safety protocol, apply a food-safe sanitizer to the cleaned surfaces.
