C1000 Product Programming Mode

Changing Product Cook Times

  1. Press and hold the program button until “PROG MODE” shows in the display.

  2. Press the desired product button and the LED above the button is on and the set-point temperature flashes.

  3. Press the program button and the cook time flashes.

  4. Press the up or down button to change the product cooking time.

  5. Once the up or down buttons are released, the time is saved after 2 seconds.

  6. To reset cooking time to default settings, press and hold both the up and down buttons simultaneously.

Changing Temperature Set Points

  1. Press and hold the program button until “PROG MODE” shows in the display.

  2. Press the desired product button and the LED above the button is on and the set-point temperature flashes.

  3. Press the up or down button to change the set-point temperature. Press and hold the up or down button to change the set value in 5 degree increments.

  4. Once the up or down button are released, the set-point is saved after 2 seconds.

  5. To reset set-point temperature to default settings, press and hold both the up and down button simultaneously.

Basic Programming

C1000 Programming is used to set the items below:

  • Fahrenheit or Celsius
  • Initialize System
  • Lock or Unlock Controls
  • Fryer Type – Open or Pressure
  • Heat Source – Electric; Gas w/standing pilot; Gas w/electronic ignition; Gas-Induced Draft
  • Vat Type - Split or Full Vat (vat)
  • Oil Type - Solid or Liquid

  1. Turn off the power switch (either side), to enter Programming,

  2. Press and hold the PROG button, and then turn the power switch back on. SPEC PROG followed by, DEG °F or °C displays.

  3. Use the Up or Down arrow keys to choose °F or °C.

  4. Press the PROG button and INIT displays.

  5. Press and hold the right timer button and In-3, In-2, and In-1 displays, followed by Init Sys DONE. The controls are now reset to factory parameters, the time is set to 0:00 and temperature 190°F or 88°C.

  6. Press PROG. LOCK or UNLOCK displays. Use the Up or Down arrow buttons to choose LOCK or UNLOCK.

  7. Press PROG. FRYR displays on the left, and then OPEN displays on the right. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to change from PRES to OPEN if needed.

  8. Press PROG. FRYR displays. Use Up and Down arrow button to change the fryer type:

    • ELEC for electric models.
    • GAS for units with standing pilot.
    • SSI for units with solid state ignition.
    • IDG for units with induced draft gas burners.
  9. Press PROG and VAT displays. Use the Up and Down arrow button to choose SPLIT or FULL vat type.
  10. Press PROG and MELT and Solid or LIQD displays. Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to choose:
    • Solid, if using solid oil.
    • LIQD, if using liquid oil.
  11. Press and hold PROG to exit Special Programming at any time.
