Operating the Optional Direct-Connect Oil System

The hose is to be attached to oil return line only for the system to work properly.

  1. Connect the female quick disconnect, that is attached to the hose in the rear of the fryer, to the correct male quick disconnect at the wall. Once attached, the hose can remain connected unless the fryer is moved.

  2. Open the drain valve and drop the oil from the vat, into the filter pan.

  3. Once all the oil is gone form vat, turn the red handle counterclockwise, into the down position and hold.

  4. While holding the handle down, turn the cook/pump switch to the pump position. oil is now pumped form the filter pan.

  5. Once all the oil is out of the filter pan, turn the cook/pump switch to the off position.

  6. Turn red handle back to original position.

  7. Add fresh oil to vat. See Filling/ Adding Oil.
