C2000 Special Programming

The Special Program Mode is used to set more detailed parameters listed below.

  • Degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius

  • System Initialization

  • Program Lock or Unlock

  • Fryer Type

  • CPU Temperature

  • Inputs Status (high limit, drain switch, fan switch, module) • Outputs Status (fan, module, heat, pressure)

To exit from the Special Program Mode at any time, press and hold the Program button for 2 seconds

  1. Press and hold the Program button while turning on the COOK/PUMP switch.

    “SPEC PROG” displays, followed by: 2. “DEG oF or oC”

  2. Press the Timer button to change oF to oC, or vice versa.

    Press the Program button to proceed to the next step.

    “INIT —>” displays.

  3. Press and hold to reset the controls to factory settings.

    “In-3”, “In-2”, “In-1” displays, followed by “INIT SYS” and then “DONE”.

    Press the Program button to proceed to the next step.

    4. “PROG UNLK” or “PROG LOCK” displays.

  4. Press to change controls from “UNLK” to “LOCK” or vice versa. In the lock mode, the time and temperature can’t be changed until the controls are unlocked.

    Press the Program button to proceed to the next step.

    “FRYR” displays on the left and the type of fryer displays on the right .

  5. Press the Up and Down arrow buttons to change to the type.

    • “ELEC” means an electric model;

    • “GAS” means a gas model;

    • “GAS” “SSI” means gas model with solid state ignition (do not have to light pilot light)

    Press the Program button to proceed to the next step.

  6. “CPUB” displays on the left, and the temperature of the CPU board displays on the right .

    Press the Program button to proceed to the next step.

  7. “INPUTS” displays. Press Product button 1 to display the input status.

    • “H”= high limit;

    • “D”= drain switch;

    • “F”= fan switch;

    • “M”=MV signal from ignition module on SSI gas fryers.

    • When “_” displays, it is an open condition;

      When “*” displays, it is a closed condition.

    Press the Program button to proceed to the next step.

  8. “OUTPUTS” displays. Press Product button 1 to display the output status.

    • “P”=pressure;

    • “I”=ignition module on SSI gas fryers;

    • “H”=heat;

    • “F”= fan (24V gas systems only)

    • “MV” “NO”= no 24V gas system

    • When “_” means output is off; “*” displays, output is on.

    Press the Program button to proceed to the next step.
