Cleaning the Blower and Vents

To avoid burns, do not move the fryer while containing hot oil.

To avoid personal injury, turn off electrical power before cleaning equipment.

To avoid personal injury from falling lid, fully engage tilt stop while cleaning and servicing lid. Lid may fall with force if tilt stop is not engaged.

  1. Ensure the unit is off.

  2. Close and lock the lid.

  3. Remove the back shroud of the unit.

  4. Clean the inside of the back shroud and read of fryer.

  5. Using a crosstip screwdriver, remove the screw securing the flue to the blower.

  6. Using a 3/8" socket or wrench, remove the five nuts securing the blower motor and pull motor from unit.

  7. Clean fins of blower wheel, using a brush or flat blade screwdriver.

Depending on the kitchen area conditions, the blower wheel may require cleaning more often.
