Special Programming

In Special Programming mode you can program the following:

SP-1 Fahrenheit/Celsius

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button. “SP PROG” displays.

    After 5 seconds, “ENTER CODE” displays.

  3. Press hidden buttons: 1,2, 3.

    “SP-1, TEMP, UNITS” and “°F” or “°C” displays.

  4. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change temperature units.

SP-2 Lock/Unlock

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button. “SP-2, LOCK/UNLOCK PROGRAMMING” and “LOCK” or “UNLOCK” displays.
  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to lock or unlock the programming.

SP-3 Air Temperature Setpoint

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button. “SP-3, AIR TEMP SET POINT,” and the preset cabinet temperature displays.
  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change the air temperature setpoint. 140° F (60° C) minimum, 210° F (99° C) maximum.

SP-4 Humidity Setpoint or Off

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button. “SP-4, HUMIDITY SET POINT,” and the preset humidity setpoint displays.
  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change the humidity setpoint from 10% to 90% or to turn the humidity system OFF.

SP-5 Out of Water Trip Point

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button. “SP-5, MAX WATER HTR SET POINT” or the preset trip point temperature displays.

    If float switch fails, trip point temperature is the water pan temperature at which the control senses the water pan is out of water. We recommend a trip point temperature of 450° F (232° C).

  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change the out-of-water trip point.

SP-6 Clean Water Pan Setpoint

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button. SP-6 “CLEAN WATER PAN SETPOINT” and the preset temperature, at which the control senses that the water pan needs cleaned of lime, displays. We recommend a setpoint temperature of 425°F (218°C).
  3. Press the up or down button to change the setpoint.
  4. Press the program button to continue onto SP-7 System Initialization.

SP-7 System Intialization

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button. “SP-7, DO SYSTEM INIT” displays.
  3. Press and hold the Down arrow button until the display counts down from and the display flashes “-INIT-,” then “INIT*DONE.”

    This completes the initialization, and sets the control to factory settings.

SP-8 Audio Volume

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button.

    “SP-8, AUDIO VOLUME,” and volume setting (1 to 10) displays.

    Press hidden button 1 to test volume.

  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change the volume.

SP-9 Audio Tone

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button.

    “SP-9, AUDIO TONE -(Hz)-” and the tone setting (50 to 2000) displays.

  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change the tone setting.

SP-10 Audio Effects

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button.

    “SP-10, AUDIO EFFECT” and the effect setting (0 to 3) displays.

  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change the pattern of the tone.

SP-11 Language Options

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button.

    “SP-11, LANGUAGE,” and the preset language displays.

  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to shuffle the language between English, French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese.

SP-12 CE Heat Regulation

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button.

    “SP-12, CE HEAT REG.” and “NO” or “YES” displays.

  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button to change to “YES” if unit is CE, “NO” if the unit is non-CE.

SP-13 Water Fill Option

  1. Press and hold the PROG button until “LEVEL 2”, then “CLOCK SET” displays.
  2. Press the PROG button.

    “SP-13, WATER FILL OPTION” and “AUTO” or “MANUAL” displays.

  3. Press the Up arrow button or Down arrow button select “AUTO” if unit has automatic water fill ability, or manual, if water pan has to be manually filled.

NOTE: Press and hold the Program button anytime during programming to exit the Special Programming Mode.
