To avoid fire or excessive smoking: do not leave fryer unattended during Melt Cycle; do not bypass Melt Cycle unless oil completely covers elements. |
To avoid serious personal injury or property damage, do not exceed maximum product capacity and filter as recommended by manufacturer. |
Do not overload, or place product with extreme moisture content onto racks or in baskets.
- 3 lbs (1.4 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 1-1/2 lbs (0.68 kg) is the maximum amount of product per split vat.
- 1.5 lbs (.68 kg) is the maximum for the split vat fryers.
With prolonged use, the flashpoint of oil is reduced. To avoid personal injury or property damage, do not use oil that is foaming or shows signs of excessive smoking. If the oil temperature exceeds 420°F (216°C), immediately shut off the power at the main circuit breaker and have the fryer repaired. If oil temperature exceeds its flash-point, fire will occurs, resulting in severe burns and/or property damage. |
