To avoid severe burns, do not open the drain valve while vat is under pressure. Allow the pressure to reduce to atmospheric pressure.

Opening the vat's drain valve allows oil to flow out the bottom drain. To avoid burns, ensure a drain pan or shuttle is in place to catch the hot oil.

Burn Risk

To avoid burns, do not allow water to mix with the frying oil.

Burn Risk

To avoid burns, do not move the fryer while containing hot oil.

Do not overload, or place product with extreme misture content into the basket.

- 3 lbs. (1.4 kg.) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.

- 1 1/2 lbs. (.68 kg.) is the maximum amount of product per split vat.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in oil overflowing the vat which could cause serious burns, personal injury, fire and/or property damage.

NOTICE -

Always use strain relief. Install the provided power cord with the ground wire dimensioned to fail last in a way that if the strain relief fails, wires L1, L2, L3 and N must draw taunt and fail first. The unit requires a grounded receptacle with a separate electrical line protected by a fuse or circuit breaker of the proper rating.

NOTICE -

Recommended maintenance must be performed to ensure safe and continuous operation of unit. See Henny Penny operation instructions.

NOTICE -

Proper maintenance also increases the usable life of the appliance and oil, which reduces lifetime operating costs. Additionally, old oil increases the possibility of surge boiling and fire due to the reduced flash point of the oil. The oil temperature must never exceed 450⁰ F (230⁰ C).

NOTE: Unit should not be operated using an external timer or remote control system
