Discarding Oil Using Rear Dispose

The following steps describe how to dispose of oil using the Rear Dispose process.

  1. From the Settings menu screen, tap Oil & Filter > Dispose Oil. The Enter Password screen displays.

  2. Enter code 1-1-2-2.

  3. Tap Dispose Left Side or Dispose Right Side, if this is a split vat.

  4. Tap Rear button to dispose of oil in rear of fryer.

  5. Tap DRAIN button to drain oil from vat into drain pan.

  6. Tap COMPLETE when vat is empty.

  7. Touch and hold PURGE button to remove oil from lines into drain pan. Tap NEXT when complete.

  8. Tap PLAY button to begin disposing oil to the rear of fryer.

  9. A timer displays to show what stage of the process is reached. Anytime during this process, tap the Pause icon to suspend the process or the Stop icon to halt the process.

  10. Verify oil is removed from filter pan. If drain pan is not empty, tap Repeat to repeat dispose process.
  11. Tap Fill button to add fresh oil when drain pan is empty. The Dispose Complete message will display.

  12. Choose method to refill vat with fresh oil and tap the appropriate button.
  13. Complete the process by doing the one of the following:

  • If Bulk is chosen, touch and hold FILL button until fresh oil reaches fill line in vat. Then, tap Done when complete.

  • If Manual is chosen, pour oil into vat until oil reaches fill line. Then, tap Done when complete.
