Selecting the Location

Burn Risk

To prevent personal injury, install and level fryer according to manual instructions.Restraining ties may be used for stabilization.

This fryer must be installed and used in a way that water does not contact the oil which can cause splashing and boiling over of oil and steam leading to personal injury; excludes normal product moisture.

Burn risk! Do not move the fryer or filter drain pan while containing hot oil. Personal injury or serious burns can result from splashing hot oil.

Fire Hazard

To avoid fire, the area under the fryer should not be used to store supplies.

Fire Hazard

To avoid personal injury and fire: install appliance with minimum clearances described in manual; do not spray aerosols near appliance while in use. Install the open fryer with minimum clearance from all combustible materials.

NOTE: Side clearance dimensions are a recommendation for best performance, ease of use, and accessibility. However, no side clearance is required if more than one fryer is side by side.

The proper location of the appliance is very important for operation, speed, and convenience. Choose a level location for the appliance to ensure proper operation including oil coverage of product. Choose a location which provides easy loading and unloading without interfering with the final assembly of food orders. Operators find that frying from raw to finish, and holding the product in a warmer provides fast continuous service. Landing or dumping tables should be provided next to the fryer. The best efficiency is obtained by a straight line operation, i.e. raw in one side and finish out the other side. Order assembly can be moved away with only a slight loss of efficiency.
