C1500 Programming
Introduction
The controls are preset from the factory, but desired functions can be programmed in the field. Press and hold the Program button until PROG MODE displays.
NOTE: If LOCK displays during procedure, see Special Programming to unlock.
Change Set-Point Temperatures
This mode allows the operator to change and set various parameters for each product.
- Press and hold the Program button until PROG MODE displays.
- Press the desired product button. The LED above the button is on, TEMP displays and the set-point temperature flashes.
- Press and hold the arrow buttons to change the set-point temperature by increments of 5.
- Release the arrow buttons, the set-point is changed after 2 seconds.
- To reset the set-point temperature to the default settings, press and hold both arrow buttons simultaneously.
Assign a Product to Timer
- To assign a product to a timer button, press product button and then the desired timer button. XXXX is displayed if the product doesn’t match the current set-point.
- To change to a new product (and set-point) press and hold the timer to choose the new setpoint.
- Once the new set-point is chosen, press the timer button to start the cook cycle.
- Full vat operation: Only products with the same set-point and with the LED’s on, can be selected for cooking .
- Split vat operation: Products with two different set-points and with the LED’s on, can be chosen.
Change Product Cook Time
- Press and hold the Program button until PROG MODE displays.
- Press the desired Product button. The LED above the button displays and the set-point temperature flashes.
- Press the Program button and TIME displays. The cook time flashes.
- Press the arrow buttons to change the product cooking time.
- Once the arrow buttons are released, the time is saved after 2 seconds.
- To reset the cooking time to the default settings, press and hold both arrow buttons simultaneously.
Programming Alarm
- Press and hold the Program button until PROG MODE displays.
- Press the desired product button. The LED above the button is on and the set-point temperature flashes.
- Press Program button twice and ALRM displays 0:00 flashes.
- Press the arrow buttons to set an alarm in a cook cycle. Example, if an alarm is to sound 30 seconds after starting a 3 minute cook cycle, set to the alarm to 2:30.
- Once the arrow buttons are released, the alarm is saved after 2 seconds.
