Boil-Over Prevention
The following rules are provided to prevent personal injury to the operator and damage to the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions can result in oil overflowing the vat which may cause serious burns, personal injury, fire and/or property damage.

To avoid serious personal injury or property damage, do not exceed maximum product capacity and filter as recommended by manufacturer. |
Do not overload, or place product with extreme moisture content onto racks or in baskets.

14 lbs (6.4 kg) is the maximum amount of product per PFE 500 full vat.

18 lbs (8.2 kg) is the maximum amount of product per PFE 561 full vat.

12 lbs (5.4 kg) is the maximum amount of product per PFG 600 full vat.
- 20 lbs (9.0 kg)is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 21 lbs (9.5 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 3 lbs (1.4 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 1-1/2 lbs (0.68 kg) is the maximum amount of product per split vat.
- 24 lbs. (10.9 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 22 lbs (9.9 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 24 lbs (10.9 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 15 lbs (6.7 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 12.5 lbs (5.7 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 6.25 lbs (2.8 kg) is the maximum for the split vat fryers.
- 1.5 lbs (.68 kg) is the maximum for the split vat fryers.
- 9.4 lbs (4.25 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 4.7 lbs (2.125 kg) is the maximum for the split vat fryers.
- 21 lbs (9.5 kg)is the maximum amount of product per full vat.
- 10 lbs (4.5 kg) is the maximum amount of product per full vat
- 5 lbs (2.3 kg), is the maximum amount of product (Waffle fries or Hash Browns) per full vat.
- 9 lbs (4.08 kg), is the maximum amount of product (1.5 bags of product. 36 reg filets, 54 breakfast filets, or 66 strips) per full vat.

To protect the oil when the fryer is not in immediate use, the fryer should be turned off.

Frying breaded products requires filtering to keep the oil clean. oil should be skimmed frequently throughout the day and filtered thoroughly once a day.

Dispose oil if display shows “CHANGE OIL SOON” or if oil shows signs of excessive foaming or smoking.

Maintain the oil at the proper cooking level. Check and fill the reserve oil tank throughout the day.

Do not overload the baskets with product, or place product with extreme moisture content into baskets.
When it is necessary to drop frozen product, dip the basket of product in the oil for just a moment and then remove. Wait a moment and then place the basket of product back in to the vat, and then start the timer. |
